Richard “Rich” Hawley, Jr.

Richard O. Hawley, Jr., is a 1984 graduate of Heritage Hills High School, graduate of DePauw University with Honors, and a 1991 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Law with Honors. He also attended the University Of Chicago Business School (M.B.A. Program) on a fellowship. Rich is a past board member of the Evansville Bar Association and past chair of the Evansville Bench and Bar Committee, and past President of the Downtown Optimist Club. He believes community service is a privilege and a necessity. Rich has served as counsel for a number of political subdivisions--school corporation, town and county. He has conducted continuing legal education presentations in multiple states. Rich has also served in numerous capacities for local charitable and educational organizations.

In over 30 years of practice, Rich first tried complex business cases and spent more than 10 years as an insurance defense litigator. He now devotes his entire practice to getting justice for injured people.

Sacha L. Armstrong

Sacha has more than two decades of experience representing clients in Kentucky and Indiana. Before dedicating her practice to advocating for injured individuals, she represented clients in high-stakes litigation matters throughout both states.



Sacha served in the United States Navy and earned her law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. In 2015, she received the Doran E. Perdue Service Award from the Evansville Bar Association and was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010 and 2015.


She formerly served as President of the Evansville Bar Association and President of the Law Library Board. Sacha is also a past co-chair of the Evansville Bar Association Diversity and Inclusion Committee and former Chair of the Evansville Bar Association Editorial Board.


Committed to community service, Sacha has supported Holly's House for more than a decade, including prior service as President of the Board of Directors. She remains actively involved with the organization through its Advisory Committee.

Robert "Bob" John (Retired)

Robert John is a graduate of F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville, Indiana (1964), Indiana University, Bloomington (1969), with a B.S. in business from the Kelly School of Business, and Indiana University Law School, Indianapolis (1972). Bob was admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana in 1972. During his more than 40 years of practice, he tirelessly assisted those with legal needs. During the first 12 years of practice, Bob handled divorces, criminal cases, and civil cases.


Since 1985, Bob John exclusively represented people who had been injured. It is because of this devotion to his clients that Bob was awarded the highly prestigious Indiana Trial Lawyer Civility Award for 2011 recognizing his high standard of ethics and professionalism in this industry. His dedication to his profession earned him a perfect 5.0 Martinsdale-Hubbel score, which is another objective indicator of the respect that your peers have regarding your ethical standards and professionalism. Bob's years of devotion to the injured is still what guides the firm today.


During his career, Bob John was Assistant City Attorney (1980 to 1983), Attorney for the Evansville Vanderburgh Levee Authority (1980 to 1986), Board member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, member of the American Bar Association, member of the Indiana State Bar Association, and member of the Evansville Bar Association where he has been a member of the Board of Directors.

William "Will" Marshall Attorney

Will Marshall is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a 2025 graduate of the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. He is licensed to practice in Indiana and Kentucky and focuses his practice on personal injury law, representing clients injured in car wrecks, truck crashes, slip and falls, and other accidents caused by negligence.



Will is a Henderson, Kentucky native, where his family has served the community for years through T & T Pharmacy. He joins Robert John & Associates with a commitment to advocating for injured individuals across the tri-state area.
